Marital status
In most provinces, being married can affect your insurance premiums. Therefore, if you are getting married within the next month, select the ‘Married’ status to reflect the correct insurance premium. However, note that in Nova Scotia, your marital status does not affect your premiums.
Minor convictions
Minor tickets or minor convictions include things like speeding, disobeying a traffic signal, failing to yield to a vehicle or pedestrian, or improper lane changes. Include any tickets that you've received whether you've lost "points" or not. The better your driving record, the lower your premium.
